The 53 Colours Racing Team ...
A bit of an Obsession ....
When we aren't busy fabricating signs, you might find at least one of us in the race shop, or at a race track!
Business co-owner and talented driver, Todd Musker is in his 10th year of racing stock cars at Capital City Speedway. Beginning at the age of 17, Todd started out racing in the MiniStock division. Slowly but surely, with years of practice, he made his way up to the front of the pack, to claim the 2006 Point Championship in MiniStock, and a shiny trophy to prove it.
Carl and Lesley also have years of experience behind the wheel, but have decided to concentrate this year on the new
Thunder Car efforts.
After a busy 2006 winter of building the new generation race car from the ground up, the 1995 Monte Carlo Thunder Car made its debut locally in spring 2007. Todd finished the '07 season in third place overall, only a few mere points behind the top two drivers.
2008 marks the second consecutive year of the 53 Colours Thunder Car, this year with a new look and a fabulous graphic wrap! We ended the 2008 season in 3rd place overall, without major damage to boot!
